Last year we launched our new Green Forest App and website. Both the app and website are the best places to go to receive the most up to date information about everything going on in our school. There is an events calendar to help you see time and dates for upcoming activities at the school, an athletics tab to keep up with all of our sports teams, a dining tab to view the upcoming breakfast and lunch menus, and much much more. We also send out communications on a regular basis via push notifications through the app. These are sent instantly and will be used to send out urgent messages such as a school closure or any other important announcements. All communications are also sent out to our Facebook and Twitter social media pages. However, if you do not have social media, no big deal. Download the app or visit the website on a regular basis and all of the information sent to our social media is also available in either the Live Feed section or News section.

The school app and website are separate from our new student information system, TeacherEase. TeacherEase is specific information for your student such as attendance, grades, and lunch account balances. Messages sent through TeacherEase will generally be specific to your student. If you do not have your parent portal set up yet and would like one, contact Mr. Prugh at cprugh@gfr2.k12.mo.us or Mrs. Crocker at kcrocker@gfr2.k12.mo.us. To access TeacherEase we have put multiple links on our website. Simply go to our website, click the menu button at the top right of the page, and the first link under quick links is the TeacherEase Parent Portal. You can also just visit teacherease.com or click this link.
Don't worry though, we aren't changing any of our normal means of communication. We will still send home the monthly newsletter and menu just like always. We will still utilize an all-call and text message system for those important announcements too. Our goal is simply to expand our ability to provide immediate communications in as many different ways as possible to best fit the needs of our community.
