The 6th-8th grade boys and girls basketball season begins next week. There have been a few changes to the schedule that we are working to get updated on the athletics website in the coming days. Click here to go straight to the athletics page on our website. You can also get there by clicking the menu button on the website and clicking the athletics link in the popup menu. You may notice that there are two athletic links in the menu. The link in the top row that is a circle will take you to a page showing the results of each game. The athletics link in the menu below that takes you to a page showing an image of the entire schedule.
Here are the changes to the original schedule.
Oct. 13th game against Raymondville has been cancelled.
Oct. 17th game against Success has been cancelled.
Added a game on Oct. 14th @ Bourbon starting at 5:00 PM
Oct. 25th game against Phelps County was moved to Oct. 26th.
Again, we are working to get the updated schedule posted to the website as soon as possible.
Our players have been working hard in practice each day after school. I hope that you consider coming out to cheer on our Mustangs as they compete over the next couple of months. I also want to remind everyone who may attend that we expect our fans to be positive supporters of our athletes. Please refrain from interacting or complaining with the officials on the floor or the opposing team. I also ask that if you would like to speak to our coaches about something, please schedule an appointment with them to do so and do not approach them after the game. We want our students to enjoy playing the game and we need your help in creating a positive atmosphere for them at every contest. Thank you for your support and cooperation.
