We will get you set up in our new parent portal and have you verify all contact information, provide supply lists, and give you the opportunity to complete the application for free and reduced lunch. School supply lists for the upcoming year have been updated on the website. While most of them didn't change very much, if you downloaded them prior to today please go look at it again and see if there were any changes. The supply lists are also available at Walmart.
Open House will be Monday, August 22nd from 6-8 PM.
Registration is next week the 10th and 11th from 9:00 to 3:30. We are asking that all students both new and returning attend. We have a new student information system this year and would like to get everyone set up with their new parent portal and confirm all contact information for your child in the new system. Free physicals at the hospital this week. Last week of basketball camp for 6-8th graders!
Registration is being moved to August 10th and 11th. Only new students to the district need to register on these dates. We will send out notifications if that changes and all students are required to attend. Have a great rest of the summer.
Don't forget that basketball camp continues this week in 6-7:30 PM. We ask that you enter the gym directly through the back doors.
Cheerleading camp is coming soon. The dates for it are July 27th, 28th, and 29th from 2-5 PM. This is for students in grades 6-8 who are interested in being a cheerleader in the upcoming school year.

REMINDER: With the expiration of the federal waiver regarding student meals at school, the district will no longer be able to provide free meals for all students. Lunch and breakfast prices were set by the board at the June board meeting. Breakfast price was set at $2.00 and Lunch at $2.60. Families will fill out a free and reduced lunch application during registration in August. Have a great summer.

The Dent County Rural Schools Softball Tournament scheduled for Friday, May 6th has been canceled due to weather. The 7th and 8th grade softball players will be gathering at the Armory Friday morning to participate in volleyball and dodgeball tournaments. The replacement events at the Armory will not be open to spectators. Thank you
